As a luxurious breakfast or tasty dessert you can also make French toast. The basis is very simple: beat an egg with some milk and cinnamon and let the old bread soak in here. Then bake golden brown in a knob of butter and serve with some cinnamon.
Do you really want to expand it, and then you can also eat the French toast with warm sauce of red fruit. A scoop of Greek yogurt is fresh and also provides extra protein.
Finally, a sweet recipe: bread pudding. Tear old bread into pieces. Mix 200 ml of milk, 1 egg, 25 grams of melted butter and 100 grams of sugar or honey, and pour over the bread. Create flavors of your choice. Think, for example, of forest fruits and vanilla, or pieces of dark chocolate and chopped hazelnuts!
